Hard floor cleaner/steamer

Hi all.
I've recently put down a light coloured LVT flooring.
It obviously gets dirty due to people's feet and shoes but the manual cleaner I've got just doesn't do the business.
If I get down on my hands and knees and wash it by hand i can get it sparkling, but it's 32sqm...so I don't fancy doing that 2 or 3 times a week.
So I'm looking for a good electric cleaner/steamer that can get it looking like new and also get into the joints between the planks (with it being a light colour the dirt stands out more  in the joints)

Any suggestions?

Thanks

We have porcelain tiles, not LVT, but use a Vax steam cleaner like this, and it does a good job. Don't bother with their detergent, just use water.

Yeah I've got the older model of this, the S2S model.
    It's well past it's best.

  • When I had LVT  it stated that a steam cleaner shouldn’t be used on it ?
  • We have natural stone throughout and holiday lets.  We have a Polti and a Karcher.  The Polti was 3 times the price but is amazing.   The Karcher, although cheaper isn't as powerful but heats up within seconds.

Just double checked and you're correct, not advisable to use a steamer on LVT.
  • Bissel Crosswave, suitable for LVT and ours is brilliant.

Any reason why an old-fashioned mop and bucket won't do? If you don't want to leave the floor too wet afterwards then finish off with a dry microfibre mop.
