Amazon delivery before dispatch

I ordered some items from Amazon on 22nd Feb with an expected delivery date of 26th Feb

Yesterday - I received a notification that my order had been delivered on 19th Feb

I sent a query to the vendor who cancelled my order and made a refund

I have had a on-line chat with Amazon who told me to reorder but to keeep the original IF it arrives tomorrow

What is going on ?

Could be a multitude of things.  Amazon marketplace sellers have a matrix to abide by and failing to post something due to it being out of stock is a harsh marker as is failing to prove delivery.  Sometimes sellers just refund as harsh feedback pokes at the matrix again. 

I would see what happens by the time you should have received the re-order.  If you have two, then let the seller know and they may supply you a prepaid label for the return.

I have not reordered and am keeping my fingers crossed that the original order is still delivered tomorrow!!
