This is what I see on the sales page https://imgur.com/A4O4A26and if i attempt to change call plan on the website, the first thing I look at is the price, which shows that to do so, they cancel my promotional reductions and charge me an 'out of contract' price like so https://imgur.com/ElGBCD6so the only other option I had was to call them up and ask them to change it, which they did. of course they didn't tell me There were these particular limitations that would apply, or direct me to the T&C page or anything, they processed the sale that had been presented to me on the website.edit: just in case anybody thinks I ought to have paid heed to the link at the bottom, I had no interest in any included features and what they might cost, I only wanted the free calls to mobiles that were advertised on this page. I had no intention of using anything else.0

The first link you posted has the tariff guide clearly linked below it too. I get you're unhappy but all this is your own fault at the end of the day as it's all on the website & likely in the order confirmation too0

Why would a person read the tariff if they are being told they are being given 1000 free minutes? There is no reason, therefore it is by definition 'unreasonable' to put necessary information in a place the customer is not led to believe they need to look.
If I am given a meal ticket to a free buffet, why would I then proceed to go look at the individual meal price list?

sorry but that's absolute ridiculous on the face of it. it is not negligent to go through life not reading things which don't apply to me. They were 1000 FREE MINUTES. WHY WOULD I LOOK AT THE PRICE LIST????looking at a price list for things I will not use is not 'basic research'. it's a waste of precious time and I would class that as stupidity.

You don't want to hear that Plusnet have not done anything wrong. No point in commenting any more.so you're saying there's nothing wrong with offering a service of a chunk of free things, and then putting a caveat in the price menu?lets say in the menu of other products, there is a thing that says 'the free stuff we offered you elsewhere is only free if you take it in small bits'. then you think that's fine?"All you can eat" offers in a restaurant/pub/buffet/whatever are done in small plate sized chunks.. There will almost certainly be no signs that say you have to limit yourself to one plate of food at a time. If you're able to carry three, four, five plates at a time using appropriate sticky-out bits of the anatomy required, then good luck to you.Point being the provider can limit (directly or indirectly) a feature/offer/policy as they see fit, providing it says as much when you sign up. Its no different to the days where providers gave you 10Gb of data or whatever a month in your £6 cost and if you went over, there's another £4.95 or whatever it was per gigabyte, and then complaining you were charged £10.95 because you used all your allowance. But that's what you agreed to, whether you read it (or didn't read it as the case may be) when you signed up.0 -

If you choose not to read and understand them then it is entirely your own fault.
That is applicable to everyone and not aimed at you @triadealready said quite clearly, I read all applicable T & C when I first took out a service with plusnet. I read all applicable T&C when I took out a call plan. since the call plan was specifically free calls, the tariff does not apply. that's basic common sense.I'm really not sure why this is such a difficult concept to grasp. I don't read rulebooks for things that I never intend to use. people who read tariffs when they never intend to use calls outside the free minutes are reading things for something they don't plan to use. that's like reading the regulations for space shuttle when your job is a taxi driver. it's insanity. but clearly I'm in a lunatic asylum right now.0
