Is this just coincidence?

Never had this before but this afternoon Zone Alarm blocked a Ransomware attack on my PC.

Russian cyber attack? or am I just paranoid?

  • May be coincidence as well but the last two external attached picked up on my router firewall today were from Russia, however 17% of the 526 attacks over the last 2 months were from Russia so not surprising.





    You need to look into securing your perimeter, if the attack got as far as your laptop you have missed opportunities to stop it with your router / firewall.
