I have a Canon b/w laser printer wirelessly connected to my Chromebook.  If I click on "print" and then realise that it's going to print more pages of something than I actually want, how can I save paper and toner by cancelling what it hasn't yet printed?  And ensure that next time I switch the printer on, it doesn't carry on from where I stopped it?

Does it not put an icon up on the screen when printing. Mine does and if I click on that it tells me the progress and there is a Cancel button.

The problem you've got is once it's gone from the print queue to the print spooler it's quite often difficult to then cancel it, even if you use the cancel button on the PC's print dialogue.

Suggest making use of Print Preview before you send a print job.

Amusingly, we have Canon printers in two locations.
I chose the wrong device once and forgot about it as I then printed on the correct device.
When I visited the other location a few weeks later, I plugged in the printer and it printed out what I'd told it to do ages ago!!
