eon wont refund my money
help please, i was an Igloo energy customer and i was in credit but moved house a few days after they went into administration, eon next took over the supply but im having difficulty getting them to issue my fairly substantial refund, they keep asking for a final statement which came to me in email form but not as an invoice, they suggested contacting the administrators which i did but their reception say the admin team are not allowed to speak to the general public and to go back to eon, can anyone help as the next step i am seriously considering is the small claims court, many thanks for any help

Whether they like it or not, EON, as SOLR, are responsible for the smooth change over. They should be communicating with Igloo's admininstrators - not you.

I would imagine you'll get your refund as a credit to your EON account in due course, but it may take several months.

If you are still with Eon I probably wouldn't rush things.
Simply start to pay a lower amount and when they try and increase it make it clear you are waiting on a credit balance from the previous supplier.0 -
thank you for your replies but the house we moved to was a relatives and we were already with another supplier so wasnt staying with eon anyway but im going to follow up on QrizB's suggestion and email the CEO of eon with the communication ive had so far0
