Web purchase Winzip

I purchased a Winzip product which renewal was a few couple of days ago. I did not want to renew as it was apparent I had no use for it - searched their site for the Termination process found nothing so emailed them with the product numbers and that I did not wish to renew.
It is apparently automatic renewal. I originally paid through Paypal so I cancelled the renewal itemised on Paypal, for Corel Products not to take the money from my card account. I then received notice from Winzip renewal docs and that the after amount had been taken from my card account.
It appears there is no way of contacting them by phone, that goes dead on you. I used their 'Chat' service, 3 times got to the bit about requesting termination details and I was then cut off and referred to support for 'How to use the product' I went onto the web to to see if I can find out how your terminate, after a number of other disgruntled Users their is a link at the end of the Renewal email to click to Cancel renewal but you do not get REFUNDED.
I have now clicked on the link to process a cancellation, I checked on the original email and where is no such link!
Do I have recourse to REFUND the T & C's are American jargon which does not relate to British Law or my understanding(? )
Can I make a Disputed claim through my card account, or Paypal?
You also have to go into Google Pay to delete any card details that are listed, as I beleive that was how they accessed my card details - I dont think they would have had the card information via Paypal?
Can anyone help or give me an idea of where to start?

UPDATE: After carefully reading through the T&C's Item 15 re: cancellation of subscription it states "Customers may cancel Subscriptions to Products and Services as indicated on the cleverbridge website" There lies the answer - Have gone onto Cleverbridge site and there is a process to cancel subscriptions and request a REFUND!!!
I have now received an email saying that my subscription has been refunded!!! RESULT - just waiting to see if and when it goes back onto the card. There is a God after al l!!!!
Why isnt it clearly stated on the Winzip site or a link to divert you through to the Cleverbridge site???

Memo to self: NEVER use automatic renewal...

Why are you even buying Winzip?Windows has had the ability to create, extract and handle ZIP files ever since the days of XP. All Winzip will offer you is the ability to add password protection - which is also provided by 7-Zip, which is free - and for the odd occasion where the built-in utility can't help.Winzip is a legacy program from the days where Windows didn't have the feature built in. Its probably overkill for most people.3

Agree - use the free 7-zip0

Agreed - also recommend 7-zip.
In addition to cancelling any payment authority on PayPal, I'd also suggest talking to your bank/card provider as well and telling them to do a chargeback on the transaction, and tell them to refuse any future transactions which may attempt to auto-renew in future.1 -
oh dear......
