Birds pooping problem

Options
I live near a school and have power lines running over garden, the power company put some sort of scarer up on the tower  a few years back which let off a high pitched sound and 5 mins or so but that didn't last long. I bought a laser pointer off eBay which clears them away instantly, I was wondering if they will eventually stop coming back if I keep doing this every time they stop there? There are literally hundreds of them scattered around first thing in the mornings but once I shine the laser they go away and not coming back until next day so was just wondering whether they would eventually remember not to perch there and stop coming back?

I guess kids birds gather more around these areas for left over food etc.

Perhaps more of a issue for a bird forum.
All I will say is that with a airport behind us. It is a constant battle to clear them away.. Remote bird scares (shotgun cartridges) playing bird of pray calls & using actual birds of pray. But given the natural number of them that is not very often. As there is always at least one flying around...
Still coming back every few hours.

As they posted in the motoring forum I assumed the issue is that the poop is getting onto a car.

A bird pooped on my car's bonnet.

I didn't ask her for a second date.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".
  • Have you tried asking them if they plan on not coming back if you keep shining your laser pen?

    Communication is key.

If they are ostriches they will just ignore your laser pen and bury their heads in the sand.
