NHS Pension..?

To be honest, from the sounds of it she would continue to pay in to the SIPP as she is doing then and obviously also pay in whatever is needed to the NHS one to get max gains.
She leaves the financials to me as she has less of an understanding of it than I do (her words) and I don't fully get this. Not at the moment anyway. And I don't like changing anything unless it's fully understood.
Whether that works out to be the best decision or not, I don't know.
As far as early retirement goes, very very unlikely. Neither of us earn what I think would be required for that unfortunately.
I don't know precisely what she's on now but I think it's in the 20k-25k range. I know it's a little less than me and I'm about 28k. When she takes this job on she'll actually be earning a little less but once she works through the bands & gets to the highest band her job role can get to then I think she'll be in and about what she currently earns.
