  • I used power point as I found the online floorplans to be awful. I nearly did it by hand and took a photo!

This is the sort of room where I'd definitely want to see a full floor plan of the house.

To answer your queries on ic's layout, yes there is plenty of room for the toilet.  A tall radiator can go next to it on the wall that the door is on as well, no issue.

You can also buy reduced depth sinks, 25cm deep, but it's not ideal in a big room - you'd want width to compensate for the lack of depth.

I'd be veering towards a nice deep bath with good drop straight down at one end to provide good standing space, a properly plumbed thermostatic shower over it, separate to the bath filler, and a quality shower screen.

You can then have a really awesome vanity unit with lots of storage and a big mirror in place of the separate shower.  There's good room then for your heat source where the sink is in ic's plan.

We did it in our last house, ripped out the separate shower that we'd put in ourselves and had a really nice bath with shower instead.  Our 6'2" son complained at the prospect but much preferred the finished article.  I'm a bath girl, so appreciated the Kudos folding screen so I never felt like I was bathing in a shower.

People often overlook storage in bathrooms, but it just makes for a mess, albeit a brand new mess.  Just because you have space things fit, just about, it doesn't mean you should.

Unfortunately not; unless I make a hatch from the loft and use a rope ladder ;-)
The door opens with hinges on the bottom left corner.
What's the other side of that wall where the boiler goes?

full floor plan would be useful

Is it used for anything other than the boiler and plumbing.

Does it really need a full height door
