Can a Tribunal PIP decision lead to me having to pay back PIP?

Hi folks,

I was awarded low rate mobility PIP and no Daily Care in 2018 (I was one point short of Daily Care award) I didn't ask for an MR at the time.
A high court ruling from 2019 on one of the descriptors means that my PIP award can be looked at again, and I have written to PIP and they have texted me back to say that they will write to me within 12 weeks about my 2018 claim.

Hopefully they will review the decision as regards the High Court ruling in my favour, but think that I may well have to go to Tribunal if they don't.  Am I right in thinking that even at this stage in light of the High Court ruling I will get the offer of a MR or an appeal to a tribunal if MR is not successful?

If I have to go to a Tribunal then I take it they review the whole PIP award  including Daily Care and Mobility components?
and secondly if the Tribunal took away my low rate Mobility (which I think is unlikely) but if they did, would I have to pay any of the money I got for Mobility back?

Thank you very much for any help.

Once they look at the award again and a decision's been made if you're not happy you can request the MR and then Tribunal by asking them to look at that activity only, pointing out that you were happy with the rest of the descriptors.
If at any point the Tribunal consider taking away any award a claimant may already have they will always be warned before doing this. This then gives the claimant the chance to cancel the Tribunal. If the claimant did then proceed with the hearing and they lost their award, they wouldn't have to repay anything back.
