Virgin Broadband lack of respect.

Having watched Martin on TV last year I applied for Virgin broadband deal @effective £19 p.m.Since then I have been given various installation dates over 3 months. There exists a Virgin cable not 20 feet from my window but they kept saying external work has to be carried out. This happened everytime within three days of the due installation date.I had come to the end of my contract with Plusnet and had to extend costing £40 pm due to having now to pay line rental.I feel that Virgin have abused me and cost me time stress and money.I am disabled and if I could have one of them arrested I would.

He told you. Write a formal letter/email of complaint.

What is the issue here, are the Virgin installers not carrying out the work or are you refusing to allow them to the "external" work that's required?

    Is your disability relevant?

Have you determined what the technical issues are?
  • If they are saying external work needs to be carried out there must be an issue on their network (i would assume between your nearest cabinet and your house)

Depending on the issue they may have to arrange to dig up sections of road or pavement. Arranging all this can take time
  • Disability is relevent as far as stress is caused and it is their issue as I in no way have been obstructive.

If you're making a claim about disability discrimination, you'd need to explain further what the relevance is and what reasonable adjustments you think they've failed to make. You don't generally have a claim for "stress" just because something is taking longer than you'd like.
  • I'd go elsewhere for your broadband.  Why would you want to have a contract with a company that you think have abused and disrespected you?

Nor have they. Blame Martin for overloading them with new business.
