I was on SA for a couple of years in 2010 because I was unsure as to my income stream at the time - but cancelled this in 2012

OK - so you are registered for self-assessment and won’t need to need to re-register should the need arise! That’s the long and the short of it. What you ’cancelled’ was the necessity to file a Self Assessment tax return every year, which has clearly worked as you would otherwise be awash with penalties by now.MouldyOldDough said:[Deleted User] said:
