    No you are on the right track; and it would also fall under the "misleading and aggressive commercial practices" legislation.

    It is not a summons, it is a money claim.  The use of this word is misleading and open to sanction,   Use it to your advantage.
    You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    I didn't receive email notifications for all these replies but just popped in to update as someone said no one ever updates and lets them know the outcome and realized I'd missed all these replies, apologies!

    So the IPC raised it to National Parking Enforcement who have said TNC will no longer use that wording. It remains to be seen if they stick to their promise.

    The car park belongs to a social housing provider.

    There's a red symbol near the top-right ... looks a bit like a Post-it note. That is the Bookmark option - select that and you should get notifications about replies to such threads. Check also your Notification settings in your profile.
