Xbox one s being flaky

Got an Xbox one s thats being flaky it's about 4 years old.  Thought it might have wifi issues so factory reset the hub. Didn't seem to stop the issue.  Took the xbox around to somone elses home to see if it was the internet conenction.  Nope.  Have done a factory reset removing all the apps a number of times and its still having issues.  It does not want to load up apps or get the green screen of death.  After reset it might last a couple of a days. Guessing its a internal issue.  But no idea what part.  I know my partner wants one of the new generation The Xbox series X  :# just not sure if its worth spending the money on getting it fixed. As I can buy the newer generation of the same machine for £249!!!!

Be aware that the Xbox Series S doesn't have an optical drive to play physical discs which is fine if you just use Xbox Live or gamepass but you wont be able to play your old discs. You'll need the much more expensive Series X for that.

Xbox one prices are low 2nd hand. I would just replace and sell yours as faulty to recoup some money.
The Series X is nice to have (I have one) and the Series S is great but limited (son has one) but they dont offer masses over the Xbox one is still well supported by M$. If you have a 4K TV I would personally replace with a 2nd hand Xbox one X as these can be bought 2nd hand for not much more than the S.
