Haven't posted in a few days as nothing much to post really! Literally just waiting for payday, which is on Tuesday. Had a NSD during the week (just realised I forgot to declare in the thread!) but that only brings my total up to 3 this month. My spending habits have changed dramatically since my LBM though. A lot more low spend days. I have only had one takeaway coffee this whole month whereas previously that might have been a near daily occurrence and I have also been enjoying getting back into cooking again, meal planning and not eating so many takeaways. Accounts have little to no money in them at the moment. I think I have around £50 left to cover the weekend. Actually going away for the weekend just for a night but accommodation and meal is already all paid for so shouldn't cost much. Total of £53 pending on vinted and all the items sent away.
Looking forward to next week and moving money around and getting that debt number down a bit further!
Aim 1- get debt down to 1/3 of starting total = £2464 or £146 reduction in next couple of weeks
Aim 2- get debt down to £2000 or £610 reduction by end of August

Ooooh got to love the run up to payday, even though you feel the pennies tighten even more so. Only having one takeaway coffee this month compared to your old habits is a massive achievement!

Thanks @Squirrelz92 and @savingholmes. Appreciate you stopping by!
The day before payday and I am having a random freezer food day to keep it a NSD. Can't wait for tomorrow to get all my savings replenished and everything separated out nicely into different places. Date lodger is moving out has been finalised so really need to keep to budget this month as won't have that extra income any longer.
Main areas of spending this month have been transport (needed new 3 month bus pass) and taxisthis is definitely my main target for improvement next month. I just need to be more organised so I'm not running late for everything all the time and can use public transport! Other areas as expected were trip to visit friends and hen party. Actually spent relatively little this weekend just gone but had a really lovely time.
Still aiming for my DFD November 2022 but hopefully sooner!Debt free November 20221 -

@savingholmes not currently trying to find a lodger as thinking about selling my house to buy somewhere with my boyfriend so I want to be able to do a bit of decorating etc. Will definitely miss that extra income hugely though!
Just got a refund through so decided I had enough left in my account before payday tomorrow to do my envelope challenge. Withdrew 49 + 15 = £64 sent to CC taking debt down to £2546. £82 left to go until I hit my first aim of having paid 2/3 of my debt. So far paid £226 through the envelope challenge. It is good as it forces me to send extra money to the card and therefore not spend it but sometimes feel like it leaves me a bit tight! I have plenty of areas to be cutting back on in my budget though so just need to improve on that!Debt free November 20221 -

Payday! Non-EF topped up with money for holiday in Sept and a few days away planned for my birthday. Made sure enough is left in my bills account including a small buffer. Transferred my spending money to a different savings account then I am going to put weekly amounts of spending money onto my spending card to see if this helps make my money last. Had an unexpected £300 payment hit me due to an inaccurate meter reading but actually had enough to cover it without much major panic, just means I will be able to put less to debt/savings than I was hoping but feels good that I have got myself into a position where I can handle an unexpected (large!) payment. Nothing much else to report!
Hope everyone is well.Debt free November 20223 -
