Is this an allowed use of a company car?

NHS fleet solutions don't provide staff a lease to commute, normally that grade will be peripatetic therefore business use may well be relevant.0

The OP's query related to business use by their partner, not themselves (which is already covered).

Wasn't the OP asking if they could use their husband's company car for their (the OP's) business use? Or am I hopelessly confused?Jenni_D said:The OP's query related to business use by their partner, not themselves (which is already covered).
(I'm probably confused as you usually seem to be right!)1 -
Your info seems to be out of date. NHS Fleet Solutions say the opposite on their website, i.e. "Your car will be insured for social, domestic and pleasure purposes including commuting to a single place of work, and business use for your public sector organisation only."arctic_ghost said:NHS fleet solutions don't provide staff a lease to commute, normally that grade will be peripatetic therefore business use may well be relevant.
Also, despite the name NHSFS don't confine their business to the NHS.

Actually you're right, it is the other way round - but the end result is the same; they've confirmed (or believe they have) that the employee's lease car can be used by a spouse in the course of the spouse's business.Manxman_in_exile said:

if you are covered for personal use that then may be the extent of it, that would most likely exclude commuting and if stopped car would be seized for incorrect insurance0
