With you @Ginmonster on the brioche buns!  Really can't understand why restaurants are using them now rather than burger buns.  Sweet buns don't belong with dinner.

Lol. Made me laugh as my DH is obsessed with these for burgers. I have to admit I am baffled why this seems to now be a thing. Why can’t I have a normal burger bun from Aldi?!

I'm with you on brioche buns for anything savoury 🤮. They belong in trifle or bread and butter pudding... just saying

    2nd March - Sainsbo
    £69.34 groceries
    £1 toiletries.

    8th - Discount shop
    £10.80 coffee
    £35.95 cat food
    £2 h/hold

Doing well with making do with what we have in the house. Fridge is a little bare, but trying to get it really empty before the next shop.

    £119.09 of £400

Edited to add, I couldn't agree more on the brioche bun. Blurgh

I also don't get sourdough. Just seems dry and chewy to me. Give me a white sliced loaf any day of the week and soft white baps.
    Debt Jan 2017 = £42k
    May 2022 = £15k
