Trying to source this type of 'office' ceiling tile.

These are almost the readily-available office ceiling tiles of this type, but are slightly different in two ways - one is that they are a full 600mm square (whereas most are 595 - to allow for the joining/support strips) and the other is that they have bevelled edges (most are square or stepped).
The difference comes about because these tiles are not supported on all 4 sides like most, but just on two, with the other sides simply butting up against each other in rows.
I managed to find these when I first looked on eBay a few years back, but cannot find them now :-(
Any ideas?
Yes, I'm sure I can use 'normal' tiles by gluing the butting edges together, but would obviously prefer to find the originals as they'll look the same - including the fissures.
Cheers.

Well, I googled 'suspended ceiling tiles 600mm bevelled edge' and got this:
https://www.buildingmaterials.co.uk/promat-supalux-bevelled-edge-ceiling-tiles-600mm-x-600mm-x-9mm-0-36m2
Which shows as square edged in the description, but perhaps a typo and hopefully a starting point.
Or this http://capital-ceilings.co.uk/burgess-concealed-grids.html a bit of info on bevels.
Hopefully something on there may job your memory as to what it was you found (name of I mean).

Ummm I’ve used those tiles before but 300x 300 many yrs ago. They are butted together but they have a thin metal strip between each tile so they stay level. And have a hidden ceiling grid.
I think your gonna have a hard time finding them.
Think they are a fissured tile.

Could you use 1200 x 600 to avoid the bevelled edge problem?

Thanks all. Plenty for me to look at there.I'd found the correct ones on eBay originally, but that was at least a couple of years ago.The 1200 tile could be a goer, CoffeeH, as I could take tiles from a separate room - where the visual bit isn't as important - and fit the 1200 tiles there. They certainly look very similar.Actually, I could even score a bevel into the tile using a craft knife

If you try and put a bevel on the edges of the tiles you will have to paint them.
if your gonna use the 1200x600 and there’s no support on all 4 edges you will get the tiles sagging, seen it many many time’s.
the tiles that but up have a metal strip between to support them.A thankyou is payment enough .1 -
Yeah - good points, Plumb :-(
