Let it be for the time being and once you’ve settled in and got used to the house, decide what you want to do long term. Maybe that garage will come in handy, maybe you want to extend the house, maybe you want to demolish it, you will know in time.
No point spending money now just to find out you have other plans.
Whatever needs doing, there are options, though that wall between garages seems to be a party wall, albeit single skin?0 -
Actually Aoleks makes a good point about living in it for a while! I had a list of things I wanted to do when moving into a new property and actually over time my priorities have shifted.
