What is best practice? I have a few DD`s (small amounts) which will automatically be cancelled by the PO on 1st March. Should I cancel the various bank current account DD mandates. I will be closing the PO online savers to which these small amounts were going to. In view of the poor interest rates PO savings accounts are offering is there any point in keeping an online presence.

I'd leave the DDs in place on the bank - they may be classed as live for another 13 month, as AFAIK the PO will only cancel them on the PO system. I've still got Tesco DDs from their old DD facility showing on some banks.3

Strange - expected the DDs on Post Office accounts to be cancelled but still continuing into April.
