The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, in one of the new Splendid rooms at the Swan Hotel & Spa in the Lake District. Set on the leafy banks of the River Leven at Newby Bridge, the Swan reopens fully this spring after a multimillion-pound makeover, with 30 new rooms and suites, as well as the Holte Spa.

Sustainability is a key theme of the hotel, with local products to the fore – the beds are Cumbrian, as are the coffee machines and the woollen carpets.

The spa features treatments by Oto, Comfort Zone and Ground Wellbeing as well as the Lake District’s first spa garden – complete with a Finnish sauna, a woodland plunge pool and an indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool.

The prize includes a spa treatment each for the winner and guest as well as one three-course dinner for two, excluding drinks, at the River Room brasserie. It must be taken before February 28, 2023, excluding school and public holidays.
