Portugal Toll Penalty Notice - Is this legit?

Today I received a letter from a company called Euro Parking Collection saying I had to pay an unpaid Portugese toll fee of £54.93 from September 2021.
Included on the letter was a picture of my number plate.
Included on the letter was a picture of my number plate.
I was in Portugal at that time, but from memory, all tolls were paid for, I checked on the website of Pagamento De Portagens which said there were no outstanding payments relating to my van.
So, questions:
- Anybody else had any dealings with Euro Parking Collection PLC, and if so what was the outcome?
- Could the lack of information on Pagamento De Portagens indicate that the debt had been cleared by being bought by epcplc?
Apologies for the length of this query, and thanks in advance.

The the PLC and London/U.K. address must surely indicate that this is not an issue for the “Overseas” board, or travel for that matter?
EPC are vultures, pure and simple - their MO is to buy up penalties that foreign authorities cannot, or can’t be bothered enforcing, then they attempt to scare payment out of their victims by any means.
Post four of the Newbies Sticky the Parking Tickets Forum covers them entirely.1 -
Any update on the above? Did anyone pay the fee to that company?0

But to answer your question... you would be daft to pay them.1
