Evening All!
I've had a quotation from Magnet today, its a beautiful design for our new kitchen. I said that my Brother-In-Law will be fitting it and he has an account with Magnet but they gave the the price as supply only and not at trade price. Would I need to get my Brother-In-Law to do the design and quote on my behalf - he told me to use his name to get trade. I'm confused. Any ideas?

yes it would obviously need to be on a trade account to get a trade price, otherwise everybody would just say "i'm in the trade"...

You won't need to get him to do the design, but the invoice will need to be made to his account and include his VAT no if he is registered and that can be reclaimed.[Deleted User] said:Evening All!

Magnet do some stunning designs but their prices are OTT. I used their design as a basis and went elsewhere with it.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I'd agree that Magnet are expensive for what is offered, even trade. I've never used them.Rosa_Damascena said:

Thanks all, I've messaged my brother-in-law and pinged over the quote for him to check. Also have an appointment with Howdens on Wednesday. I've had a quote from B&Q as well but not sure on the quality. Hubby and I can take a look at all three quotes and then decide.0
