That one *might* turn out to be not-too-shabby, if the sort of E7 rates other providers are currently quoting turn out to be representative of the general trend. I agree with others saying that a lot might change in the next couple of months though.

Well i took the leap onto the April 2023 one a few weeks back in the end, and looks like not too bad decision after all.  They have put their eco 7 prices for variable for my area on their website now and they have come out as:

    Standard

48.21p per day standing charge (so paying 13.78 p less)
33.995p per kwh day rate (so paying 0.435 pence more per kwh)
15.786p per kwh night rate (so paying 1.194 pence more per kwh

so looks like i have managed to hedge my bets a bit as whilst slightly more expensive than their standard variable, no doubt it will save me more from the October price rise, as no doubt the kwh will go up by more than 1p each.

definitely i am glad to,  especially as the new equivalent tariff (Exclusive Fixed May 2023 Online) is listed on their tarrif information sheets as being 37.5p kwh day rate, and 18.56p per kwh for night rate for my area as well so is cheaper than if I had held out a bit longer.
