I'm just trying to work out my new DD value. 

3 Feb BBC said 54% increase. Is this correct ? 

When I search I find lots of predictions, but not the conclusion!

I thought it was lower than expected at ~49 percent

As suppliers give 30 days notice of any rise in prices, I expect mine to go from £48 to £72 per month and maybe a bit more. The cheapest price Octopus are quoting me is £70.46 per month so I might hold off a couple of months to see if the price drops if not then I might fix at that price.
The other option is I can just cut my usage further and pay less.
