Hi,
Me and my wife are planning to buy a pub of which Ground Floor is a PUB and First Floor is a Flat.
Our idea is to buy it and convert the ground floor as well to Flat.
Which type of company set up will be best for us - for our property investment - Limited Company, Partnership, Private Limited etc.?
We are planning to buy more properties under the same company set up.
We are NOT planning to sell any property. We will use the income from the company for our personal use (may be dividend or salary).
We will be handing over the business to our children in the future.
Can anyone please recommend which company set up will be best for our requirements?
Thanks

For a new business of this nature with the need to understand and get the correct treatment for ownership, taxation, VAT-liabilities, planning permissions etc. you really would be best to take professional advice. This is far too broad to be meaningfully covered in a forum and far too important for the OP if they make errors in how things are managed - a small optimisation missed could have large consequences.
You are going to need a Solicitor in any case at some point to do the property acquisition and you'll probably want the services of an Accountant and a Planning Consultant. Given that you will need this team eventually, better to engage them sooner rather than later.
