You can stay over at London Zoo, and Flamingoland as well, if these might be of interest.

An idea.... you can stay in a lodge in the park https://thebigcatsanctuary.org/1

If you still want to go to Longleat, The Bishopstow Hotel and Spa is nearby. This is not a recommendation as I've not stayed there. It's a bit close to home for me, but, it often has deals on Travelzoo or Secret Escapes. Might be a better idea.0

Please check with the spa if they offer treatments for pregnant women. I went on such pre-pregnancy holiday in Cornwall 3 years ago and they told me most of their treatments were not for pregnant women. I could only get a minimal-touch pedicure, not even a proper foot spa!!1

On this occasion, for a, variety of reasons (most mentioned by you guys above!) we won't be doing this pre baby. Likely we will wait a couple of years or so.
Meanwhile we have a 'mini stay' of one night at Port Lympne which was mostly a wedding voucher we had to use, which looks decent.
Thanks all for your replies, I feel much more in the know as regards CP!0
