Free Parking Meadowhall Minster Baywatch PCN on Work Pool/Lease Car

Hi all, had a PCN through my work. It is a work pool car that is leased so not sure how to approach this if anyone could help as not clear from FAQ's? From Minster Baywatch at free Meadowhall parking on the grounds of "vehicle was not associated with a customer or off-duty staff member whilst using the shopping centre" complete with 4 pictures of the vehicle parked correctly inside a bay. The date of contravention is 19/10/21 and the date of the PCN received is 09/02/22. There was no ticket on the vehicle this has come through my work via the lease company. Asking for £100 or £60 in 14 days. I have checked and have evidence on a bank statement that I made a purchase in Meadowhall that day also. Tried contacting Meadowhall customer services and they didn't want to know, just said to appeal via Minster Baywatch website. Anyone with a similar experience or how to deal with this much appreciated as this is the first time I've ever received a PCN and feel I am no fault. Thank you.

Has work completed the transfer of liability slip on the bottom of the PCN so that you received a Notice to Hirer in your own name? Go to the NEWBIE sticky first post and scroll down until you find the standard appeal in blue text, then below that there are some more appeals written by @Edna_Basher - use the most appropriate one for lease/hire/company cars.

Thanks for your response Le-Kirk. It is a notice to keeper or hire company and just addressed to the company head office I work for, not in my name as it is a pool car. Work know I had it this day and have forwarded it to me to resolve/pay. Work have not informed MB of my details. I'm assuming MB got my work address details through the car lease company.0

You cannot do anything about it as it is not addressed to you. Your fleet manager should know how to deal, unless of course this is the first PCN they have ever had.2

Basically the facilities manager has forwarded it to me in an email and told me it's my responsibility to pay them direct or appeal direct with MB, not very helpful. Is the best advice I do not appeal direct then and ignore it as MB do not know who was driving? I'm worried work would continue to forward further correspondence to me once it escalates and gets me in trouble with work.0

DON'T ignore it. DON'T pay it.
Yes, there will be a ton of letters and a court claim sent to work (and they'll no doubt pay it then try to deduct money from your wages) so you must get the Facilities Manager to use the slip to name you as the hirer/lessee. That transfers liability away from them completely!
Or, as you have the PCN there, use the slip to fill in your own name and address, send it off with a free certificate of posting, and wait for your own Notice to Hirer.
Then you appeal as hirer as per the Edna Basher example appeal for hire/company cars, in the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry to read about your troubles with Parking fines.I would be very interested in the text of Baywatch Notice or Appeal response they appear to be using a set of generic letters regardless of circumstances?
Many thanks
Michael
