I have the misfortune of not been born Yorkshire, German or ...Op, did you get (can you remember) a check-in report when you started renting the property? It sounds like you got am inventory.Did you use the fire extinguisher? I can understand them wanting to replace after 8 years, but that is the landlord's responsibility.Lodge a challenge via the scheme your deposit is allocated to. If they quote a document or check-in photo you haven't seen before, point that out in your challenge.I recently did this. I had notification from the deposit scheme of proposed deductions. You get to submit a written response and attach any supporting paperwork, photos etc then await their decision. For mine, they were comparing everything to their check-in report. I pointed out they never gave me that document so their claim failed (also the damage they claimed was preexisting and caused by landlord's son's dog not our cats).May you find your sister soon Helli.

Me too, but I'm half Scottish by a mate of my Dads.
So for sporting events I tend to support, in order, Scotland then Wales then Brazil then Engerland. Keeps the interest in international competitions going longer!2
