I need to £3000 from my Amex Gold Credit Card to my Halifax Current Account
Hi I'm from the UK and I've got a American Express® Preferred Rewards Gold Credit Card, unfortunately haven spoken to customer service today there is no way do a cash transfer to a bank account or even an ATM withdrawal for my account. I need £3000 from my Amex balance to my Halifax current account, however I can't find any methods online.
I was thinking to buy some iPhones and selling it on eBay but I've realised that's a bad idea because of eBay fees involved and there is no guarantee my items will sell. Please tell me quick method with low fees, thanks. PS: I know its a bad idea to bank transfer from a credit card but I really need to do this, thanks.

Can’t be done.
You need a cash transfer card for this. Why the need though?1 -
Not sure if it will work for a private account but there is billhop.com that let you pay on a bank account using a credit card (at a fee)1

So, if you've realised the iPhones idea is a bad idea because of fees, why do you still need the cash?2

There's more to this story than you're telling us. If you can elaborate on the "need" to transfer cash from Amex to your bank, the collective wisdom of this forum will more than likely be able to help.
You don't mean that you've got a £3000 credit balance on there, do you (i.e. you've overpaid or received a refund from somewhere)? If so, just ring them up and ask them to transfer it to your bank - that's standard practice if any credit card goes into a positive balance.neeeero said:I need £3000 from my Amex balance to my Halifax current account,

The OP's made 15 posts on the forum and all but this one have been deleted.
I suspect this won't end well either.6 -
Well it can be, but you are almost certainly breaking T&Cs... plenty have used two PayPal accounts to do a Friends and Family transfer funded by a credit card and withdrawn to a bank accountChris_English said:Can’t be done.

OP, it’s really poor manners to delete posts as you are doing. What are you up to?0
