Fridge Advice Please

Hi,
I noticed a few weeks back that some ice had formed on the inside of my fridge.
The location of the ice was at the back near the top and it does not appear anywhere else just at the back in the top quarter of the fridge
I turned down the temperature to number 1 thinking this would cure it but it seems to be doing in constantly.
I have read that turning your fridge to too low can cause this but this does not seem to make sense to me as surely the lowest setting makes the fridge less likely to frost up ?
What seems to happen is the compressor starts and runs for quite a few hours and during this time the ice/frost is created, once the compressor stops the frost gradually melts and water runs down the back of the fridge into its plug hole.
I have looked for cracks in the inside and also damaged door seals but all seems fine and it has not been damaged to my knowledge
BTW its just a fridge and does not have a freezer compartment and the fridge is integrated behind the kitchen cupboard door.
the make and model is Nordmende RIL1232A+
Any advice would be most welcome and thanks for your time.

A compressor running constantly for hours suggests that there might be a lack of coolant or a failed door seal. How old is the fridge, and is it still under warranty ?I think Nordmende have a 3y warranty on their kitchen appliances.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I don't think so. I have used the cleaning stick down it and it does not feel blocked.0 -
Have you tried tipping some water down the hole ??nicenswift said:
