Companies slow to reply (quotes dripping in)

I just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing slow replies to queries from solar companies, I've submitted/email 4 local companies and 1 of the companies linked to via MSE newsletter a few weeks ago and so far I've only heard from the large company (Project Solar) who haven't been able to book in an appointment as my work is very up and down in terms of when I'm free (I have a day off next week so they're hopefully coming then). Other than that I've heard nothing, one company I've provided my availability to a few times and this gets "added to the call notes" but I'm still yet to actually hear anything.
Also, bonus points if people can suggest companies covering West Oxfordshire.

I looked for installers on https://mcscertified.com/ maybe try that approach then cross check their reviews on google?
I can imagine even though its winter, a lot of people are having solar installed right now.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.1 -
The MCS find-an-installer database is a little idiosynchratic, IME. In the Location field try several variations; postcode, your town/village, and nearby larger town/city. It almost invariably comes up with quite different results.

Thanks, I've found a few more local companies that I hadn't come across and appear to have good reviews from what I can see. I'm not sure whether it's working in sales, but not responding to an enquiry within 5-7 working days doesn't always sit right with me.

So the first quote is in, it's an east/west split so 8 panels on each side. I've requested further details on the Inverter as I wanted a hybrid one to make it easier to add batteries in the future and all the battery quotes they've added include SoFar ME3000 Battery Charger so I don't believe the inverter quoted for being a hybrid one.
