Hotmail Issue

HI:

When I move an email from my inbx to another email folder for future reference the contents of that email don't show up in the new folder - the message Downloading message and images comes up with blue dots running across the screen but it never actually downloads.

To read the email I have to move it back to inbox.

Is there something obvious I am doing wrong ?

What application are you using to try and view the email? When you say folder, do you mean a folder within your email application, or a desktop folder?

Tech stuff is very confusing for me I'm afraid. The application on my PC is the Hotmail email thing it came with. So if I want to move an email from my inbox to a seperate folder I've created within Hotmail the contents don't show.

It may also be related but when I go to that other folder to check on emails ( Flight info etc ) it takes about a minute for the stored emails to show. Causes quite a few heart-stopping moments when I think I've lost the email. Apologies for being unable to be more precise.

I used to use BlueMail which never had any of these issues. Should I go back to that ?

What email client are you using now and why did you move from BlueMail?

Do you mean the Windows Mail app? Or Windows Live Mail? (Which version of Windows do you have? W11? W10? W7?)

Try an alternative way to access your Hotmail - click  http://www.hotmail.co.uk/  then click Signin.
You will need to enter your email address (obviously)and your password)
