HI:
When I move an email from my inbx to another email folder for future reference the contents of that email don't show up in the new folder - the message Downloading message and images comes up with blue dots running across the screen but it never actually downloads.
To read the email I have to move it back to inbox.
Is there something obvious I am doing wrong ?
Thanksin advance

What application are you using to try and view the email? When you say folder, do you mean a folder within your email application, or a desktop folder?0

Tech stuff is very confusing for me I'm afraid. The application on my PC is the Hotmail email thing it came with. So if I want to move an email from my inbox to a seperate folder I've created within Hotmail the contents don't show.It may also be related but when I go to that other folder to check on emails ( Flight info etc ) it takes about a minute for the stored emails to show. Causes quite a few heart-stopping moments when I think I've lost the email. Apologies for being unable to be more precise.0

I used to use BlueMail which never had any of these issues. Should I go back to that ?

Do you mean the Windows Mail app? Or Windows Live Mail? (Which version of Windows do you have? W11? W10? W7?)Deleted_User said:Tech stuff is very confusing for me I'm afraid. Try an alternative way to access your Hotmail - click http://www.hotmail.co.uk/ then click Signin.Deleted_User said:The application on my PC is the Hotmail email thing it came with.
