You need a few more details here, such as the length of term you'd be happy to be tied up for. I know Abbey are about to launch issue 2 of their Guaranteed Income Bond which I believe is competitive but I don't know as I'm not qualified to give advice and don't know what other banks are offering. Try booking appointments with a couple different banks (preferably ones you already do business with) and see what they suggest. If you're worried about being bullied into signing up just don't take any ID with you to the appointment so they wouldn't be able to sign you up even if you wanted to!0
