Help with adjusting kitchen drawers

Can anyone tell me how to adjust this drawer pack? Here are some photos.

The top drawer looks pretty spot on but the middle and lower ones look rotated clockwise a few degrees. The bottom one is rubbing against the oven door and it doesn't help that the door (the silver part to the right of image 2) is too far to the left - I might ask for help adjusting that later.

I removed a small plastic plate from the front right hand side of the lower drawer (Img.3) and I think it looks a bit over complicated in there. I see two philips head screws, so presumably these control the left/right, up/down and tilt somehow. I expect I'll have to make adjustments at both sides of each drawer.

I know I could simply play around with the screws and see what happens but I thought I'd ask in case someone knows exactly how this type is adjusted.

Thanks for any help.

I've often got stuff trapped behind drawers.
What I tend to do, is take out the bottom or middle drawer fully..then taking them all out.
After removing stuff from drawers, i check there is nothing that fell down the back . Then I make sure the drawers  are on the runners , and they tend to slide back into place.
Having less bulky stuff helps ..

looking at the 2nd photo, it looks very wonky as if it was fitted by Paul gascoigne or similar ..

The screw nearest the back of the drawer usually adjusts vertical allignment and the one nearest the front adjust horizontal
  • and (because it took me ages to work it out) the slightly hidden one at the top pops the front off the drawer box.

Thanks guys. I'll have a go, now that I have that information.

rob7475: there is no other 'hidden' screw that I can see. Just the two shown in the photo. Just above the right hand screw there is a spring lying horizontally.

Such a complicated arrangement. Why is there a spring in there anyway?

I think the spring is part of the mechanism that holds the drawer to the front. It looks like you have a lever in the middle that is probably to release the drawer front. I'd try the rear screw first to see what movement it gives you.

Well, I've had a go at adjusting both screws on each side and the movement is minimal. I can't see how I can get these drawers to square up. It looks like I need the right hand side of each drawer front to rotate up about 4mm and the left hand side down 4mm. The screws don't allow that much movement.

I'm wondering if there's any way to adjust the runners? I'll do a search for that.

I've discovered that the make is Blum.

Is the carcass levelled up correctly?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Good point. I think it might not be square. However, I can't see how I could fix that without major surgery. I'll probably have to live with it.
