Covid testing - travel to netherlands

I need to travel to Amsterdam at short notice and UK or NL Gov websites leaves me with more questions
 than answers
Being fully vaccinated with 2 boosters seems to be one hurdle behind me but as I understand it I still need either a PCR (before arrival)  or a lateral flow test (24 hours before)
Since I don't live in a city I cant just walk into a testing place within the time frame I'm left with
I do have a box of 7 lateral flow testing kit. I also have a PCR provided by NHS test and trace being that I'm considered a vulnerable adult. I know that if I send it in I get the results in 24 hours
I'm struggling to get an answer as to whether either of those will do
Could someone who has any experience please advise
Thank you

NHS tests arent valid and never have been for international travel.

What airport are you leaving from. Major airports have testing on site and nearby and the results are back within the hour, if not shorter.

I think The Netherlands accepts rapid antigen tests and depending on which airport you are flying from you may be able to get this done as you arrive at the airport as the results are returned within one hour.

You cannot take a test on arrival in the Netherlands.

Depending on airport, it should be possible to get a rapid test done at the airport before departure (plan to arrive 3 hours before your flight for this and don't pass through security until the result is back). I can personally recommend Collinson (£32) in this event.

NHS tests cannot be used for international travel and their misuse will rightly ensure denied boarding. A new flight will be more expensive than paying for a test in the first place.
