I booked a course with  these people on Saturday, realized it was the wrong course and they wont give me a refund when i contacted them to cancel less than an hr later ! where do I stand and how do I get my money back

Did you have to sign-up as (or pretend to be) a business? If not then they're breaking the law ... unless their T&Cs also say that by subscribing then the "service" begins immediately which would waive cancellation rights.

The devil is in the detail.

Bottom line though - you could try a chargeback with your bank/card provider, but the seller could dispute it.

nope I signed up to get a test so I can get a card to go onsite. so no pretending just realised it was the wrong test so  cancelled adn asked for a refund within an hr of paying

What date is the test you booked for?
Their T&Cs say if there is more than 4 days notice before the test you can reschedule without charge or cancel for a full refund less an admin fee of £20.
Why did you choose to use them at all though? They don't actually run any tests themselves, they are just a re-selling agency. Lots of complaints that they charge up to 3x what the course provider charges you to book directly.

yup my mistake, Im new to this and went to the wrong website link I got sent  but they wont give me a refund.
They are awful Ive registered a complaint with the CSCS as well

Hateful people to deal with  Construction Certificate beware they are  awful
