dell xps range. (420).
was 600 quid last month.Get some gorm.0 -
Try https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk, you can change the configuration around and just buy the bits you really need. Or this at Komplett again you can jiggle the components around to get the best price/performance. On that one I would put in a cheaper C2D cpu and get a btter graphics card.
BTW does the £600 need to include a monitor? It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
How about this from pcnextday, Zoostorm Core 2 Duo E6750 Advanced Premium PC - ATX Case, Nvidia 8600GTS @ £562.24
see here: - http://www.pcnextday.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCode=3374-3423
Bear in mind that this system does not include a monitor so you would have to budget for that or recycle your old monitor. Search the computer shopper reviews at www.computershopper.co.uk or www.computerbuyer.co.uk and you get reviews for the following systems all below your spend as well from pcnextday: -
PC Nextday Zoostorm 5-3401 @ £586 got 4 stars review in December 07
PC Nextday Zoostorm 4-2353 @ £499 got 4 stars in jan 08 review
Both above mentioned systems include monitors, see reviews for full details and specification.
To get the most bang for buck order your individual parts to make up a fast gaming system.Only choose this method if your capable or if you can get someone to build it for you.

Just flipped through the latest issue of Computer Shopper in the shop (too tight to buy it!) and their Test Lab featured just that type of machine - games machines for £600 including 19 inch monitor. A model from RL supplies came out top.
I think it was this one (you may want to check yourself):

Edit:
No need to buy the mag, it's on the Computer Shopper website, under Prodcut Reviews > Labs > £600 PCs.Charlie0 -
Is an overclocked pc good? Is it something to do with increasing performance and speed ?

In reply to the others I would like a full system ie.keyboard ,monitor included.
