I am hoping someone can help me or offer some advice.
Looking at hols for me, OH and 2 kids.
I've found a holiday I want to book through loveholidays. The airline there and back is Ryanair.
We're booking 2 x 20kg baggage extra which I understand will go in the hold which is slightly cheaper then booking priority boarding for the same amount of luggage. Are there any other advantages to booking priority boarding as its only slightly more.
Also, to book flight seats is around £7 per person per flight, on the ryanair website it says children will be allocated seats near to parents if the parents have pre booked. Can anyone confirm the rules around this please? Tried calling loveholidays but can't get through unless I have a reference number which I don't as I havent booked yet!
Haven't flown anywhere for years so any advice for flying in general most gratefully received. Thanks.

Priority boarding gives you priority when boarding starts on the flightI don’t think you are comparing like for like though regarding baggage.
Priority gets you a 10kg cabin bag and a cabin bag will have smaller dimensions than a checked bag.
You would be better doing a dummy booking with Ryanair to make sure you know what the baggage restrictions are and it meets your needs.
As I understand it if you are travelling with children then you would need to book at least one adult seat and children will be allocated seats next to that adult.1 -
If you can afford it, I would recommend a TUI/Jet2/EasyJet proper package. So many horror stories over the last couple of years about OTA cobbled together deals with certain airlines.........when things go wrong.2
