Protecting Daffs From Wind?

The daffodils are coming into bloom again but the high winds are already taking their toll as you can see on the end, Any tips for protecting these with stormy conditions at the end of this week?

    Only thing I can think of is twiggy branches pushed among them, bit untidy maybe but so are flat daffs

    That's a good idea.
    Too late this time but the only other thing I can think of is making a cloche. They are selling cheap ones (they last for ages with care) in our local diy store. I got mine from Poundland or similar and they've really lasted. Or you can make them from wire and plastic sheeting such as you get for laying down when decorating.
    I've always thought it's sad that daffs come out at the same time as the winds come. Nothing new.
