trying to book a holiday away with a saver return ticket to portsmouth with the free family circle railcard
the railcard conditions say that the discount is valid on this journey
when i type in family railcard on thetrainline.co.uk it doesnt reduce the price of the fare
am i doing something wrong
the ticket ois for off peak travel for both out and return and is in five weeks time
is this offer not what it is cracked out to be or am i missing something basic
please help thankyou

When you say you type in family rail card do you mean exactly that (in the promotion code box?) or do you use the dropdown menu just above that box?
