I feel like Boots has conned me!!

Whilst shopping the other day i noticed Boots No7 do a SPF for the face. The sales assistant gave me the flannel about how good it was and i came home thinking it would be cheaper than the product i am using at the moment. All for saving money, i log into the Boots website and see what it says about the range, especially the sun protection lotion/creams. I read this right at the bottem of the page. It convinced me that its the product for me so i go to Boots today and pick up the Energising Facial Suncare spf 25 and also the Shimmering Lip and Eye screen which is also SPF 25. I get home and look at the box and on the tubes themselves and it says they have a 5 star UVA rating. Theres no mention of the UVB rating on there and i feel i have been conned into a false sense of security by the misleading website particularly.
For those of you who dont understand why i am so cross. It is important today to chose sun protection creams/lotions with both UVA and UVB protection so that it protects you from all of the harmful rays from the sun.

Have to agree with you Judi.
It does say on the Boots website:
'All no7 Sun Protection provides 5 star UVA & UVB protection to help shield the skin from the burning and ageing effects of the sun.'
This suggests that ALL products have both protection, not that some have UVA and some have UVB.
Is there a paper insert inside the packaging? Sometimes not all info is printed on the outer packaging but is listed inside.
If not, then I would take a screen shot of the statement on the Boots site and I'd complain in writing enclosing a printout of the screen shot.Herman - MP for all!

No theres no printed paper inside the box. All there is is the box itself and the tube inside. I am going to complain, but you would think they would know better wouldnt you? I am afraid, both products are going back, and i am hoping i will get at least an apology for them wasting my time. Thing is, if i wasnt so hot on this sort of thing, i would probably have been lulled into a false sense of security.:mad:This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
