Doha and Saudi Arabia

I'm a UK citizen booked to fly to Islamabad with a stop in Doha on the way out (just a few hours) and a stop in Saudi Arabia (19 hours on the way back). I will be in transit i.e. not leaving the airport. I have both vaccinations and a booster, but I'm unsure if I would be required to comply with these countries rules bearing in mind I'm not leaving the airport.
If anyone could offer guidance I would appreciate it. I'm not flying until June, so anything could happen by then.

Its not normally if you are leaving the airport or not but if you have to go through immigration or staying air side. This will depend on both the country but also if you have a continuous ticket or have bought a hack fare.

I'm pretty sure I need a PCR for Pakistan, so that should sort the outbound flight. I'll worry about the return leg nearer the time. I won't return until the end of August, so anything could happen by then.

Currently Transiting through Saudi Arabia is permitted for travellers who are fully vaccinated with Saudi-approved Covid-19 vaccines and can provide a negative PCR test.

This scares me, it makes me think I've got a flight that is essentially invalid. I'm going to fly in to Manchester airport in April, so I'm going to ask the people at departures.
