Kitchen worktop replacement

We have worktops in the kitchen with two different width: 600mm and 645mm (yes, 645). The replacement we are looking at is available as 650mm and while this would probably work for the 645mm bit, it's clearly a problem with the 600mm. Can the 650mm board be cut to size easily?

Ya just cut it down to suit, you might need the 600 cutting down to say 615 if your walls are outline, and use the extra width to sink it into the wall.

One side of my kitchen required a section ~750mm deep. Used a length 900mm breakfast bar cut to size. Yes, a bit wasteful, but it avoided having spliced bits & joins.

Template and scribe the worktop to suit. Or if the fitter is not competent enough to do that, fit upstands.

I have trimmed worktop width using a jig saw with a special down cutting blade, clamped a piece of straight wood along the cut as a guide and got a perfect, well almost, straight line.
