Morning all. Weather here is wet, windy and grey so I'm pleased I don't have to go anywhere today.
My Sunday sounds much like yours Nels, nothing in particular needs doing but I think I'll give the sewing machine a clean and oil in readiness for tackling the fabric stash. I haven't done much sewing for a fair while so I'm going to start with something simple and have decided on new cushion covers - straight seams and envelope style. I have the fabric and new pads, just need the enthusiasm!
Today's menu: Scrambled egg on toast for breakfast, lunch maybe soup, and dinner will be roast beef in gravy (from the freezer), sprouts, carrots and mash. All prepped. For afters we can have one of the lemon cream cups I made yesterday.
DH will be watching the rugby again this afternoon and I'll plug the headphones into the radio so I can listen to Johnny Walker's Sounds of the Seventies, a blast from the past before life decreed I had to be a grown up!
Glad you got home safely Gers and commiserations on the dead router.
Snoozer: Of course the framer will have his own opinion, but C&C would have been paying for his services and they're the customers after all.
Take it easy dp1, you're obviously still not 100% yet.
Florenceem: Aw, those bunnies are so cute, you're very talented.
Enjoy the day whatever you're doing, take care and keep well. Hugs to anyone needing or wanting one. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
Good evening,
Late one from me, wish I could say I'd been busy all day but I haven't done much.
We went for a spin earlier, lots of water laying everywhere and the rivers bursting their banks. There were some lovely snowdrops out too.
Gers, we watched Death On The Nile on Friday, enjoyed it too, I thought the scenery was stunning.
Take care everyone 🌻5
