Does anyone know if Santander allow you to hold a second different credit card with them? Considering applying for their no fee balance transfer card and already hold their Everyday Credit Card.

Yes
I have a Zero and an Everyday card from Santander
Both are more than 5 years old so don’t know if it is still allowed to apply for two, but definitely can hold two1 -
Just a different question. Sorry OP. Does Santander offer pre-approved offers when you hold existing current account with them?

I too managed to open a Zero card when I still held an Everyday card that had just come off a 0% period and had been completely paid off. Once I got my Zero, I call in to transfer all the combine credit limits on the Zero and closed the EveryDay card1

Thanks for your responses. Good idea about trying to combine the credit limits onto one. I'll give them a call to see what they can offer.0

Although just discovered they no longer offer a Zero card!0

The Zero Card has a weird history .. it has come and gone quite a few times over times.. in fact when I first wanted a travel card to replace my Lloyds Avios Duo (Amex & MasterCard, both Forex Free and earning 1.25 Avios per pound spent) it was not available.. then few months later it was relaunched.. it is a great card and has been my main card to
Spend abroad (have an MBNA Horizon Visa as a back up, as Visa give you slightly worst rates than MasterCard) but for the last 4-5 months I have been using Chase Uk debit card for the cashback and forex free combination. I have a £20k limit on it so it has been quite useful in the past for some large Holidays deposit in a foreign currency.Hopefully it will come back at some point.1 -
There was a Zero debit card account a few years back - I went into the local branch one Saturday morning to open one - it was very busy so I said I would return Monday - it was pulled off the market between close of business Saturday and re-opening time Monday. The staff were very apologetic, advising that they weren't aware until the restart of business - having no evidence to the contrary I was unable to challenge that !!!It was a good deal for foreign travel.0
