Extending Audi PCP agreement
Hi all!
I have recently started the process of buying a house after a new build fell through. My PCP on my current car is due to end in just over a month, and I would like to get a new car, but until I have the mortgage offer through, I cannot do that.
Does anyone know whether Audi offer extensions of 2-3 months on PCP plans? I’m in a bit of a panic, as both of these things have come around at the same time!
Many thanks!

Perhaps just ask the question of them.

There are terms there to extend for 6 months for Contract Hire and Finance Lease but not for PCP. But the OP could always ask the question, though I'm not sure they will do anything.sheramber said:

Don't worry OP you won't be getting a new car anytime soon (waiting lists) so your problem is moot1

Which implies there is no offer to extend. I never said there was. I just directed to the page to read for himself.ontheroad1970 said:

Now, now, don't be over sensitive, it was information, not a criticism.sheramber said:

That’s useful to know!Flight3287462 said:Don't worry OP you won't be getting a new car anytime soon (waiting lists) so your problem is moot
Out of curiosity (sorry- finance is not my forte): if I were to go ahead and get a new car on PCP, would a hard search be carried out when I agree to take the new car finance out or when the new car arrives? If it were the latter, I cannot imagine it would be an issue as my mortgage should be through by this point (I think Audi said it wouldn’t arrive until June at the earliest!)

Search is done at the time of approving finance, before car is ordered. Maybe return your car and get something cheap for cash in the meantime.
