Paying for hotel in Portugal

I find it strange that there is no-one in the office of a, seemingly high-end, hotel through the closed season, that you could talk to. Surely someone must be in the accounts dept, particularly to see who's paid and is arriving on 4th March and send out confirmations.

Doesn't seem that strange to me, probably not working full time hours and only in the office periodically,0

Seems an odd way to run a hospitality business. Particularly after the last two years when businesses are trying to pick up. Whilst I understand bills/payroll can be done from home, if someone is in periodically, they could take a call from the OP and book his holiday. Or divert the phones and do it from home!TadleyBaggie said:Doesn't seem that strange to me, probably not working full time hours and only in the office periodically,0
