Funeral car cost.

We have been down to sort out the funeral today with the Co-operative who did dads funeral back in 2016, she asked us what’s required we told her she produced the estimate, which I signed the contract.
Having got home I compared it to dads and everything has gone up as you would expect, but the biggest surprise was the funeral car.

When we had dads the cost of the hearse plus one limo was £485, as we have members of the family shielding we decide against having a limo and follow the hearse.
According to the estimate the cost of the hearse is £795, whereas in 2016 the cost of the hearse plus limo was £485, a £300 difference which we hope is human error.
Has anyone just organised a funeral and know the cost of the cars?

We had the co op for Mum's funeral last October .We had a package though, which covered all the expenses, including the hearse and one limousine. It was £2,650.As far as individual.costs, there was a list itemising them if you made up the package yourself but i.doubt I still have the details. I will.check.for.you.They are on their website though.0

Just for the funeral home costs (attended cremation) eg casket, director, delivery of parent to crematorium etc was £1895.
This wasn't including the third party fees eg cremation, celebrant etc and I was given a price list of all the crematoriums in the counties they covered to pick one which suited us / budget.
It was with the co-op. I didn't have a car for family as we all made our own way. I organised the flowers, notices etc to keep costs down.
Prices vary around the country.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
